From members of Winnipeg’s infamous Astron-6 collective comes a loving homage and absurdist send-up of the Italian giallo genre. Rey Ciso was once the greatest editor the world had ever seen — but since a horrific accident left him with four wooden fingers on his right hand, he’s had to resort to cutting pulp films and trash pictures. When the lead actors from the film he’s been editing turn up murdered at the studio, Rey is fingered as the number one suspect. 宣布魏翔主演時，我也有些意外，印象中他是個御用龍套，沒個主角樣。不過這也正好合乎本片主角魏成功的人設。魏成功很像我去年在劇組跑龍套時認識的一位群演。都是懷揣電影夢，無論人家怎么笑話，都會盡心盡力投入角色，哪怕沒有幾句詞。 本片質量尚可。開頭有點小尬，但到中期“殺手卡爾”入戲時就漸漸入境了。雖然不是開心麻花公司出品，但畢竟是該團隊的演員主演，演技都是有所保障的。 片中有一些為適應審核而做的本土化處理，如哈維中槍未死，結尾機械降神等。此外，米蘭良心發現，給魏成功塞信的情節略有突兀，倘若放在米蘭和他們喝過酒后，再安排這段，反而會順暢些。 忽悠演員陪自己做戲，在去年的賀歲電影《{#標題55}》里也有出現。只是《{#標題55}》的成效不盡人意，而《{#標題57}》在母題運用、故事敘述等方面就比前者要嫻熟不少。

如果說上一集中規中矩的話，這一集真的是狗尾續貂了。故事雖是胡編，至少也該用點心才對。
